The Brief
Design a home addition incorporating a master bedroom affording the family privacy as the family grows while address the heritage conservation requirements of the McRae’s Estate area. Ground floor alterations are to provide a home that connects the indoors and outdoors.
The Result
Rossmark provided a design that’s satisfied Kogarah Council and conservation guide lines; the first floor addition was concealed within the upper floor roof plane. The extension on the ground floor enabled seamless connection to the outdoors while retaining and extending the existing patio. Additionally the basement renovation saw the formation of a cellar and connection with the existing garage.
