Planning for the future
The Brief
2 bedrooms and lounge that had flexibility to enable the children to grow and migrate to their own space over time, while ensuring the building facade did not take away from the semi modern cottage facade.
The Result
A second floor additions was prescribed incorporating the living space to North East and positioning the bedrooms to the rear. The shower room was positioned mutually to both living and bathrooms, the staircase was located in an area that utilized am existing storage cupboard, this ensured that the dining room did not lose its feeling of space while still providing a detailed backdrop. The roof geometry and wall articulation provides detailed street approval exceeding the clients original brief.
