The Brief
Located in the beautiful Sutherland Shire, the site offered great potential for connecting to the outdoors and the existing pool area. The client wanted to extend their home on the ground floor and accommodate a new kitchen, laundry, bathroom, and additional living space for their growing family, and maximise the opportunity to enhance the site’s liveability and connection to the outdoors.
The Result
The Rossmark building team designed and delivered a stunning ground floor home extension that gracefully steps down the gently sloping site, enhancing connection and liveability with the outdoors. The new kitchen, dining, and lounge areas flow seamlessly into the outdoor terrace and pool, creating a harmonious indoor-outdoor experience. This tiered design facilitates easy movement throughout the home and outdoor spaces. The transition from the existing ground floor to the new lower-level extension establishes a natural zone that suits a growing family, offering distinct areas for relaxation and interaction. A notable feature of this tiered design is the raked ceiling, which adds height and airiness to the extension, significantly enhancing the client’s daily living experience. Custom interior joinery and a gas fireplace contribute to the overall detail and finish.

The overall standard of finish is very high. We have absolutely no issue with the quality of the build and our expectations have certainly been met in that area. We regularly receive comments from friends and family about how great the finishes are and the quality. We would 100% without a doubt will use Rossmark again in the future. We will be calling again at some point when we are ready to redo upstairs!
