The Brief
Design a first floor extension consisting of 2 bedrooms, Master bedroom and Bathroom. If the budget allows renovate and open the ground floor.
The Result
The design encompassed a large first floor extension allowing the family to grow into the oversized rooms, the lower patio roof was designed to provide weather protection and conceal the mass of the first floor addition. The extension provided the opportunity to remove the lower bedroom walls forming a games room. The existing living area was renovated and a large bi-fold door now provides integration between the indoors and outdoors. The renovation and extension provides a family home now and tomorrow.
