The Brief
Located in Sydney’s Southern Menai, the suburb is adjacent to the beautiful National Park and Woronora River.
The increasing demand and beauty of this area assured our clients’ comfort and security when planning for their upper level home extension and renovation of their 1980s-era home. The existing house was original, and our client’s brief was for a first-floor addition consisting of (3) generous bedrooms and bathroom facilities. The ground floor was to be renovated to provide the parents with a master bedroom, a lux walk-in wardrobe, and ensuite.
The Result
The Rossmark team set out to design and build a second-storey addition that complements the existing home’s style, while seamlessly connecting it through a striking entrance door & stone feature at the entrance. The interior renovation is unified by a beautiful timber floor, which adds a sense of warmth and sophistication. The master bedroom retreat enhances liveability, while the upper level offers privacy and zoning with (3) large bedrooms and shared bathroom. The design focuses not only on integration and aesthetics but also on maximising solar access and natural airflow
